Mimi has a hot boyfriend, a talking cat, and a sister she loves. When she goes to meet her sister and they are walking out of the school, they find a teacher slumped in the car, dead.
Berkley and Edelweiss let me read this book for review (thank you). It will be published on November 10th.
When Detective Brown decides her sister is the leading suspect, Mimi jumps to her defense and begins her own investigation. There are several things happening at the school which makes those involved look suspect. The principal liked to give everyone a little hug. Now he's been accused of sexual harassment by the victim. There are other things going on muddying up the investigation.
She keeps looking and finally centers on the killer. I was afraid she might not survive because he was trying to kill her but the cops came to the rescue. You won't believe who the killer was!
