This was a mixed up mystery.  Too many people, a murder, and Hercule had to use his brains to find the killer.

With so many suspects and no way to see who was guilty, it took a long time to find the killer.

This was a short story.  The Lemesurier family has been cursed.  The oldest son is condemed.  They all die.

The families don't like it, even if they have been cursed.  They die from various things.  Hercule is brought in to figure it out.

He is getting close to the killer and with a little help, he gets his killer.

This is a story about a place in Alska that is held by women.  The men don't hang out much.

Each chapter is a woman telling her story.  

There is intrigue and mystery.  It was a fairly good read.

The planes started arriving and the men in them had guns.

It was a shoot out that had bad family ties.

A Pint of Murder by Charlotte MacLeod


This was an interesting book.  Three people died and the Mounted Ranger is trying to find the killer.

Since some of them died by a rock, it was hard to prove.

It's a small village and the people don't all get along.  Some think they are better than others.

The ending is good and the killer is found.  Think you could figure out who it was?

People keep getting killed.  Since her husband was one of the victims, Susan takes his place.

It takes her a long time to find the killer.  And she almost dies in the investigation.  She thought she knew who did it but she was wrong.

A Gentle Murderer by Dorothy Salisbury Davis


This was quite a atory.  There are murders and a cop looking for the killer.

It goes on and on with lots of clues and many questions.  It was a bit long and the killer died, too.

There is Big Tim and Little Tim.  I won't tell you who died, but you find out if you read the book.

It took me two days to read this book.  Maybe you can read faster.

It had an ending that shocked me.

This is the Mighty Moods Series.  He has a Yeti in his tummy, in his legs, in his hair, and more.  It moves...

It's a fun book to read and little ones will like it.

They start a search for him.  It isn't for a while that they find him dead.  He has Seth's knife in him.

The cops and the locals all begin trying to find out who killed him.

It keeps you reading and trying to find the killer.

The ending is gives you the lowdown.

This was a short story.  Hecule has the flu so Hastings got to explain what happened.

Hercule might be sick but he managed to figure it out.

It was a sticky situation but it ended quite well.

The man was killed but he found the killer.

I was surprised by the killer.  Were you?

This was an interesting story.  The dog and cat talk to each other.

There is a murder and Detective Whiskers intends to find out who killed him.

It turns into a complicated mystery., but Detective Whiskers with the help of a dog  manages  to find out the truth.

I enjoyed reading about the animals and think you will, too!

These are all short stories that have a killer in them. 

The stories are mysterious and not too long.  It amazes me how the killer can figure out how to do  it and not get caught.

I didn't always know who the killer was until the end.

It was an interesting read.

Appaloosa Summer by Tudor Robins


Meg's horse had a heart attack while she was performing.  It died and she got a concussion.  She loved her horse and he performed well.

She ends up with another by doing chores.  She is not as well trained, so Meg works on her.

Jared is a boy she likes and he helps.  His little sister wants to ride her.  Meg lets her ride.  

After all the tensions and Meg finds herself loving Jared and he loves her.

It's a good story.
