The Tale of the Tiger Slippers by Jan Brett

He's a hard worker so his mother makes him slippers to wear to save his feet from getting sore.  He builds her a house and soon gets orders for more.  As time goes on, he gets enough money to build his own house and take a bride.

He continues to wear the slippers until someone points out how old and worn they are.  Then he tries to get rid of them but they keep coming back.  It's his cub who gives him the best idea on what to do with them.

This is a beautiful picture book.  Jan Brett's art never disappoints you and the story is fun to read.  Why not share this fun book with your little one?
