Romance of the 3 Djinn by J A Pak

This is a fantasy story that can be read by young adults and adults both.  I enjoyed the tale and think you will, too.

The author provided me with a copy of her ebook as a gift and I'm reviewing it because I like the way Ms. Pak's words flow.  You can buy a copy on Amazon or Smashwords now.  It comes in ebook form or print.

The author's words lilt across the page, drawing you into the story of Esmene and her search for someone like her.  When she discovers a boy she's drawn to that has eyes like hers, she thinks she's found love.  What she has found is her heritage.  She's part Djinn (as is he) and while she's lived on earth for sixteen years, she has a past she didn't even know existed.

The story includes time travel, unusual worlds, two men who love her, and war in the Djinn world.  I had trouble envisioning a happy ending, but I was content with how the author handled it.

Be careful.  It's really not safe to fall in love with a Djinn.

Happy reading.

The Stone Garden by J A Pak

Just who is the lovely lady in the old stone garden?

Ms. Pak shared a free copy of her ebook with me (thank you).  It is on Amazon and is free today, too, so if I entice your interest, you should grab a copy.

I enjoy this author's writing.  Her words dance across the page and create visual pictures that look lush and draw your interest.  She also always make me think.  I like to read stories that stick with me after I have read them.

Poppy is a young girl who has no friends and no parent around to care for her.  The grounds are huge and there are many gardens.  When she finds an old one not kept up and crumbling with age, she stops for a while to admire the flowers.  That was a dangerous thing to do.

This is a short story and it won't take long to read, but I savored every page.  And after I read this story, I began to wonder if I would have ended it differently.  I still haven't decided.  Why not give it a read and see what you think?

Happy reading.

Act of Creation and Other Stories by J A Pak

This author has a love affair with food, and it's reflected in her stories...

Ms. Pak sent me an invitation to review her ebook on Smashwords (thank you).  It consists of three stories that are short and sweet  with a focus on food.

The author's writing flows smoothly, she doesn't waste words, and each story makes you pause a moment and think.  My favorite story was the first one, Act of Creation.  Her character manages to purge her hatred through food.  It was fascinating to see how she resolved her issue.

Ms. Pak's characters might be a bit shallow, but they are real.  You'll recognize them as you read about them.

I have something special to offer you as a reader of my blog.  Ms. Pak has graciously offered to share her stories with you for FREE.  Just visit Smashwords and use this code to get it free:  YL34F

It will be available for two weeks, so go get your copy now.  It comes in a variety of ebook types.  And then let me know what you thought of that first story, OK?

Happy reading!
