This is a classic golden book brought back to life again in a new edition. It's all about Christmas in the form of ABC's and very cute.
Random House Children's Books sent me a copy of this book review (thank you). It has been published and would make a very nice Christmas gift for a young one.
The illustrations are done by Eloise Wilkin. If you aren't familiar with her, she was a marvelous illustrator. She gets the little ones' expressions just right. Her images are warm, familiar and feel like home. Each page in this Little Golden Book is a treasure.
From A is for Angels to Z is for Zooming Santa back into the sky, your little one will be charmed. And, if we happen to learn the alphabet on the way, how cool is that?
Happy reading.

Baby's Christmas by Esther Wilkin
Here is a classic Christmas story for you: Baby has fun opening her presents!
Random House Kids is publishing new editions of many of the old classic stories I grew up reading. They sent me a copy of this Golden Book in board book form for review (thank you). It has been published and would make a nice gift for any new baby in your life or for an old one like me that enjoys reading the old classics. Check with your local bookstore for a copy.
Baby is very fortunate in this family; she gets lots of presents! Watching her open them and explore the items inside makes me smile. One change you will note: she doesn't have any gift that requires batteries. Life was simpler then. There are times I wish we could go back to some of the simple pleasures in life...
Have a wonderful holiday season and enjoy your family and friends.
Happy reading.

Baby Listens by Esther Wilkin
Just what does a baby hear? Here is real cute look at the various sounds and where they come from that should charm any small child.
Random House Books for Kids is printing new editions of the Little Golden Books. This is a classic Golden Book that they sent me for review (thank you). This book has been published, so check at your local bookstore for a copy. There are more in this series and I love them all. Once you look at them, I bet you do, too.
The story is cute; it even includes baby pounding a spoon on a pan to make noise. The illustrations by Eloise Wilkins are precious.
Why not return to the simpler world of the past and share this book with a young one? If you're old enough, you'll remember having read this as a child. Here's your chance to share some treasured memories with them.
Happy reading.
