The Heart's Necessities: Life in Poetry by Jane Tyson Clement with Becca Stevens

This is poetry that grabs your soul.  There's no rhyme, it's easy to read, and it's almost other worldly.  She saw nature and things differently.  Becca is now making songs from poems and that's a very worthy tribute for a wonderful poet.

Plough Publishing sent me a copy of this book to read for review (thank you).  It was published April 8th, so you can grab a copy now.

There are photos of her as a child and through out her life.  She wanted to get rid of the bad things in the world and she found religion didn't talk to her the way it did her parents.  She joined the Quakers for a while.  Even got a job there, teaching.  When she got married, she married happily and had a good life.

This is a combination of her poetry as the years go by and a biography of her life, too.  I had never heard of her before but now she feels like an old friend.
