Kits, Cubs, and Calves by Suzie Napayok-Short, Tamara Campeau

Take a trip to Alaska from your comfortable reading chair.

Inhabit Media and Edelweiss let me read this book for review (thank you).  It will be published September 1st.

When a little girl goes to stay with her aunt and uncle, she learns a lot about nature.  She sees a fox and her kits on the way home.  They are going on a picnic the next day and will get to view polar bears and their cubs.  It used to be a camp for her family but the bears took it over.

On the boat, heading for the island, she sees beluga whales and the calf one mother has.  Then a whale calf shows up all alone.  The mother adopts that one so her baby has a companion.  Seeing the interaction of the animals is a lot like humans.

This is good way to learn about animals.
