The Luckless Prince by Rie Sheridan Rose

Stefan is Prince Roland's companion and he feels lucky to have Roland as a friend.  After all, he's an orphan and almost died before he was taken in to be his companion...

Zumaya Otherworlds published this book and sent me a copy for review (thank you).  I'm so very glad they did.  This is a wonderful fantasy tale and my copy is going in my permanent library.  You can purchase a copy now at your local bookstore.

Roland is pretty headstrong and yearns to be free from the castle.  He wants to go on an adventure.  So his father sends him on a boat up the river to trade furs.  This will be his first trip and he will learn how to negotiate a good price for the furs.  When the barge is attacked, no one is more surprised than Roland.

Roland, Stefan and one other man are the only survivors and they run deep into the woods.  Too deep, unfortunately...

This story flows like an epic tale and I truly enjoyed reading it.  The plot twists and turns, with the past meeting the present, and it's a hard fight to save the kingdom from old enemies as well as new.  It's a classic fairy tale at its best.  Why not get a copy of it for yourself?  See if you can give it away after reading it.  I couldn't.

Happy reading.
