"Little Chickies Squeal" is a very popular song in the Spanish world. I didn't know that so this book was a surprise and a joy to read. Those who speak Spanish will probably sing the tune while reading it!
Encantos has published this book and sent me a copy to read for review (thank you). You can pick up a copy now.
I enjoy seeing books that are in more than one language. I only speak and read English (and sometimes don't do the best job of that) but those who are bilingual I envy. This is board book for little ones. There are flaps to lift, minimal text and lots of chicken noises. It all looks like good fun to me.
They've put it together in accordion style. One side is in English and the other side is in Spanish. It's the same story, so you can practice the language you don't do well with yet because you know the story. The illustrations are lovely, the book has been binded well, and this is one that will be read again and again.
Get yourself a copy and try it out. You won't be disappointed!
