Detective Paw and Patrol Officer Prickles are called to the ice cream parlor. It seems someone exchanged the raspberry syrup with ketchup. Ketchup tastes awful on ice cream!
Albert Whitman and Co. and Edelweiss gave me the opportunity to read this book for review (thank you). It will be published April 1st.
They talk to all the employees and don't suspect any of them. They also look for clues. What they find is the raspberry syrup in the sink and a trail of ketchup going outside. The ketchup goes to the curb and stops. While they wonder if the person got in a car, they find the ice stand across the street was really busy. They go to ask him if he saw anything. He says no. But then they see the ketchup bottle in his trash...
Was he the criminal they were looking for?
