When he finds his wife is suspicious and checking on him, he decides she has to go, too.  He orders food with peanuts in it because she is very allergic to peanuts.  When he thinks she's dead, he calls the paramedics.  But he is in for a surprise...

There are a lot of characters in this story.  When a dead body is found, they go after the man who was on a first date with her.  Sherry doesn't believe it.

As she asks questions, she isn't getting all the truth.  

The hero of the story is a police dog.  He identifies the vehicle that ran her down.

It's fascinating tale and has recipes that sound good.  I enjoyed it.

You'll meet a lot of strange characters in this story.  Holler is one of them.

Holler goes to camp hoping he can win the grand prize and save his family from being evicted.  It's not an easy task.  They have to become a group of four and they only have so many lives for their avatars.

He ends up with two girls.  They need to find a cause, flesh it out and present it.  Unfortunately it's lot like war.  Even the girls in his group aren't fond of him and their ideas are all denied.  They need to agree.

At last they come up with an idea that should work.  But to accomplish it is harder than you would you would think.

Will they win?  Will his family get evicted?  Will he ever have friends?

Lucky Cat is not lucky at everything,  He loves his family and wants to help them, but he's not very graceful.

Lucky Cat keeps messing up all the family's efforts at creating a new business.  The little girl yells at him and he hides.

Despite all their failures, she suggest they make the biscuits and try selling them.  The family loves them.  

And, guess what?  People line up around the block to get theirs!  

Then she goes looking for the cat and finds him and makes up for yelling at him.

Now they have a Lucky Cat again...

This was a fun book to read.  The children are in Area 51 with no way to return and there are aliens there, too.

Eventually the kids get together and work on solving the mystery.  The cops aren't nice and want to arrest them but they push on.

The missing aliens get found and all is well at the end.  I was surprised over who stole them...

Someone is killing young women.  Morgan recognizes the circumstances and knows she looked for the killer previously, but didn't find him.

Not only do they have a missing person that is his next victim, the person in charge of their group of cops is messing with them.

This is not an easy crime to solve.  They work as they always have despite the mess the man in charge makes.

I was surprised at the killer.  But he will get what he deserves.

It was an interesting read.

Things begin to get complicated.  Who is lying?  And who is killing Clarence and his children?  Adam and Francesca decide to follow the clues.  They aren't his children but they hope to find the killer.

The clues are varied and not real obvious but they work on them.

The killer hides well.  And they aren't sure who did it, but they discover it at the end...

Jo reads the stars and planets and sells her report to her clients.  She used to be a PI but gave that up for astrology.  But with people dropping dead around her, her old instincts take over.

It takes a lot of questions, fact finding and more before she gets to the answer of the killer.  She's in danger, too.  The killer was no one she expected.  She thought the bully was a suspect.  Perhaps but not the killer...

It's interesting but reads slow.  The killer will surprise you!

The variety of kids find themselves in a forest with big trees.  But the teacher takes them further in and the trees get bigger and bigger.  They are sequoia's and grow very big.  They learn a good lesson about the trees.  The book has little facts about the trees in the book.

It was fun to read.

Will she find him?  Will he get a heart?  Will she go back to helping her brother?  You'll have  to read it to see.

It's a fascinating tale with danger, portals to another world, and a fight to keep the baby dragon alive.  Even one of the girls is in danger.  The big birds look at her as a worm!

The Winter Orphans by Kristin Beck


This is a story about the Nazis and the Jews.  It's pretty factual and not very uplifting.  But it's a part of history that is good to know.

The Jewish women work on helping the children escape.  Not everyone makes it.  The Germans shoot to kill.

This tale is filled with tension and many escapades trying to save the children.  One woman falls in love but she has to leave him taking her little sister and herself to safety.  He's fighting the Germans.  Will he survive?

It's an interesting and unforgettable story.  The Jewish women were very brave.

If you have an interest in history, you need to read this book.

This author writes great fantasy books that are full of action with a bit of romance.

It's a good thing Jak has friends or he wouldn't be alive.  The Viper Mages are after him.  He's on a case of trying to figure out how a keg of pixie dust became rocks when it was protected by spells.  He has to take care of the Viper Mages first.  They have big plans for how to torture him.

Lorenzo Spasm, his friend, is with him as well as his love.  And a stranger with yellow eyes helps, too.  He also gets the help of witches with his sarcastic remarks.

It's a very busy book with lots of action and you wonder if he will make it.  He even figures out the other case while fighting the Viper Mages.

You don't need to worry about being bored...

She gives him a hug and they paint.  There may be danger but she knows what do now.  And Grandpa is going to take her on a picnic and paint again the next day!

It reads like a comic book and you won't be bored!

While visiting he grandmother, her mother's brother shows up.  He reaches out and grabs Caprice and she goes to pieces.  Now folks find out what he had done to her...

This is a hard crime to solve.  The more you learn, the more confusing it gets.  There are people from different states, different occupations, but they are working together.

This isn't a book that you will figure out easily.  As you read it, it takes the ending to give you the answers.

It's a good book.

This is a collection of stories by various authors about Miss Marple.

It's an interesting read seeing how each author interprets Mrs. Christie's Marple.  They do a nice job, but they aren't like the original.  I liked Ms. Chistie's Marple better.

There are twelve authors.  If you miss Agatha's books, this one will fill the need for a while.  Have fun reading!
