Pigs in Pajamas by Maggie Smith

Here is a picture book about pigs and the letter "P".

Knopf sent me a copy of this picture book for review (thank you).  You can pick up a copy at your local bookstore now.

This delightful book is filled with alliteration featuring the letter "P".  Here is a sample line for you:  "Penelope's ready with punch, pies, and pudding; there's pasta and pizza with pickles on top!"  (Not sure about the pickles on the pizza, but the rest sounds good to me.)

The pigs are sweet and fun and everyone has a very good time at the pajama party.  They are also tired and go to sleep quietly at the end.

This is a cute little read where young ones can learn to enjoy the sound of words as well as the story.

Happy reading.
