Joe Lansdale takes you on a ride on the death train to save one innocent soul.  Mercedes Lackey has a man going to save sacred ground.  He gets there first and lays a claim but another is determined to have it and comes back with more men.  In the meantime, the man trying to protect the land meets an Indian.  The Indian helps him in an unusual way...
