Blackbrook Academy is flooded. There's no way in or out. Those still there are staying at the Tudor House because it's on a hill. Not everyone is friends, but they tolerate each other. Then the following morning they find the headmaster dead in the conservatory...
Amulet Books sent me a copy of this book to read for review (thank you). It has been published and you can get a copy now.
This story is much like playing a game of clue. There's a Mustard, a Peacock, a Scarlet. Each character is looking out for their own interests. Mrs. White says it was a looter, but the students suspect the killer is there among them.
As they each look at each other with new eyes, they develop suspicions. Then they change their minds. Who could it be? Are they safe or are they in danger?
This is a good mystery that kept me confused. The killer was unsuspected until the end. If you've ever played clue you'll enjoy this read!
