Professor Gargoyle by Charles Gilman

Having to go to a new school is never easy, but this school is not only unusual, it's dangerous!

Quirk Books sent me an ARC of this book for review (thank you).  It will go on sale on September 25th, so make a note. The hardcover is much more impressive than the ARC.  The cover changes as you walk buy.  The professor is just a normal looking guy until you move a bit further and then he morphs into a demon!

This story reminded me a bit of R. L. Stine's horror stories he likes to write.  This author was very comfortable writing about a demon and even portrays him eating a hamster, shudder.

It seems the marvelous new school was made with recycled products.  Some of these products came from an abandoned house that had burned down.  Some of the owner's powers came too...

This is a fast read and the first in the Tales From Lovecraft Middle School series.  I already think I know who's going to star in the next story.  Why don't you read this book and see if you can figure it out?  Oh, and don't get too scared, OK?

If you'd like win my ARC of this book, leave a comment here on my blog and then email me at info at bookfaerie.com with your name and address and why you would like to read it.

Happy reading.

This looks and sounds like a fun book (and series).
I remember reading R. L. Stine’s Goosebumps series with my 2 youngest sons.
It would be fun to share Mr. Gilman’s new series with my next generation of readers.
