The Calendar Mysteries kids are back with a new adventure!
Random House sent me this Stepping Stone book for review (thank you). It's been published, so check with your local bookstore for a copy.
Mr. Roy does a good job of writing innocent, fun stories for children. I enjoy reviewing this series.
In this story, whomever wins the pet costume contest gets to be mayor for a day. The animals need to be dressed in an historical theme for the day and the Mayor is the judge.
While they want to win desperately (it's going to be hard to divide the mayor of the day if they do), their animals aren't participating as they should. Just when they get them all dressed, they get distracted for a minute and the animals run off!
They go all over town trying to find them. You'll have to read the story to see where they were hiding...
Happy reading.
