August Acrobat by Ron Roy

This story features the younger siblings of the A to Z Mysteries kids.  Who is the mysterious acrobat?

Random House sent me this Stepping Stone Book for review (thank you).  The book has been published and is the latest in this series.  The whole series is written for ages 6-9 and are beginning chapter books.

Bradly, Brian, Nate and Lucy are all excited by the fact that there is a circus coming to town.  If they can sell the tickets they received in advance, they will get free entrance to the circus and popcorn and a drink.  They're enthusiastic and manage to sell the tickets quickly.

Imagine their disappointment when they find only a single worn out tent and a van and trailer that look like they had better days.  When they sneak inside the tent, they find someone in a silver costume practicing acrobatics.  Whoever it is, they're good!

What will the kids do now that they have sold all the tickets and now it's not a real circus?  And who was that performing because the acrobat featured is young boy in a blue uniform, not the elusive silver costumed performer?

The four young ones team up and make this is a success all around.  It's a mild story with a happy ending, why not share it with your young one?

Happy reading.
