Here's a charming board book to read to your child at bedtime.
Abbeville Kids and Net Galley allowed me to download an ebook of this story for review (thank you). It's not as much fun to read as a book. The book has been published, so check with your local bookstore for a copy.
Each page has a sweet image of mom and child in various animal types. They are all checking to see if the child is sleeping and the soft rhythm of the text will help close your child's eyes, too.
It's sweet, easy to read and should be very calming for the child. This would make a great baby gift. Why not share the book with a young one you know?
Happy reading.

The cover certainly gives a sense of security but as you stated, and especially if for a little one, would buy the book and not the ebook.
