Bear is driving his pickup on branches. He's a good driver, but he hits an acorn. That takes out his headlight, so he goes on a road trip to find another.
Candlewick and Edelweiss let me read this book for review. It will be published February 9th.
As he heads down the road he picks up all his friends. Then they go to the elephant's junk tree to see if they can find a headlight. No luck. Then they fall from the tree in a mud puddle. The elephant knows what to do. He hoses them down with water and, to their surprise, they see the perfect headlight for his pickup.
The illustrations are lovely, the animals are cute, and it's a very enjoyable read.
