Blink of an Eye by Roy Johansen, Iris Johansen, Series: Kendra Michaels (#8)

In the blink of an eye, the very popular singer goes missing.  They don't see her bodyguards anywhere.  Then they discover them inside the big speakers in the hall.  Someone killed them and kidnapped Delilah.

Grand Central Publishing and Edelweiss let me read this book for review (thank you).  It will be published February 2nd.

With the FBI, local cops and Kendra all trying to find her it should have been easy to find her,  But this was a carefully planned kidnap and there are no real clues.  Then they get a call requesting a ransom.  Her old boyfriend offers to put up the $20 million to get her back.

They are keeping her drugged and have hidden her in a plane in the old boneyard of planes.  Delilah isn't helpless, though.  She's been taught to defend herself but she has to wait for the right time.

This is a good mystery.  Kendra finally figures out who the kidnapper is and they have a final showdown.  I never imagined the kidnapper was who it turned out to be.  Let me know if you did...
