If you like Edgar Allan Poe's work, you should check this anthology out. It has 21 stories by good authors that are a bit scary, nerve-wracking, and weird, just like Poe's work. The stories are a take-off of an original Poe story and that makes it even more fun.
Edge Science Fiction & Fantasy Publishing and Library Thing allowed me to read this book for review (thank you). It is being published October 1st.
There were very few of the stories that disappointed me. Some surprised me. Some were very special. The two I liked best were: The Inheritance by Jane Peterson Burfield and Sympathetic Impulses by David McDonald. They talked to me.
The stories are a bit macabre and some have shocking endings. None of them are boring. The story flow well and it doesn't take too long to read this anthology. Do you feel like walking the dark side with Mr. Poe? Here's your chance...
