Tony Hawk's 900 Revolution: Drop In by Donnie Lemke

When Tony Hawk landed the first-ever 900, his board shattered and the pieces spread across the globe.  Now a group of talented teens are uniting to bring the board and its power back.

Capstone for Young Readers sent me a copy of this book for review (thank you).  The series is out now, so check them at your local bookstore.

This is a new series written for reluctant readers.  It's part text, lots of graphics and about skateboarding.  There's lot of action and a preview of what's to come in future volumes of this series.

Omar Grebes is always on the go.  He uses his board at Ocean Beach Skate Park, plays in the surf and eats fish tacos.  His goal in life is to be really hot on his skate board.  After all, his Dad died and life isn't so good anymore.  He does have one good friend, though.  Or is he really?

If you're ready for a wild world with lots of actions, good and bad guys, and wonderful graphics, you'll enjoy this book.  If you have a boarder in your family, you'll want to get them a copy.  It's a book that is exciting to read.
