This is a step into reading book at Level 2, reading with help. This is a very charming little book that will make children smile and laugh out loud.
Random House Children's Books sent me a copy of this book for review (thank you). It has been published, so check with your local bookstore for a copy.
Bloom is fairy that has a dragon inside her. She's going to Fire Mountain to get in touch with it and finish her growing progress. When she gets there, the dragon are not all friendly! They blow fire at her and attack her. When she tries to escape, she falls in a pit.
There is a baby dragon in the pit named Buddy. Buddy offers to teach her how to be a dragon. I bet your little one will want to practice, too. After all, first you stomp your feet, then you roar. The only part that will be a problem will be blowing fire, but use your imaginations and it will carry you through.
The illustrations are very colorful and just right for the younger ones in your family. The story made me smile, why don't you share it with your family?
