Tom thought he was just a normal boy with a regular family. When his father suddenly goes missing and this old lady shows up and says she's his godmother, he's not sure he believes her. Especially when she tells him his father was a fairy. Don't fairies have wings?
Delacorte Press sent me a copy of this book for review (thank you). It has been published and you can find a copy at your local bookstore.
It gets even stranger when Tom finds out he has THREE godmothers. Two of them are criminals and the one he likes best hasn't flown for so long she crashes when she tries to take off. It's not looking like he's going to get much help saving his Dad from the bad fairies. And he doesn't even know who the "bad" ones are!
This is a really fun read for young adults. Tom makes many discoveries during his journey and he has to save a world so there's plenty of action. There's some silliness, too, that will make you laugh. I enjoyed this story and recommend it for anyone who likes fantasy.
Happy reading.
