Sasha is forced to stay inside this summer due to stormy weather. She begins by reading and then burns out on that. Then she asks her mom if she can dress up in her clothes. She's going to enact some of the stories she's been reading and others she's heard about.
PR by the Books sent me a copy of this book to read (thank you). It published May 19th.
She starts out as Frida Kahlo. She wore very vivid colors and the photos of this little lass make them look alike.
She goes through about a dozen personalities, borrowing from her mom, her grand mother, and getting her little sister to help.
She's Audrey Hepburn and has breakfast at Tiffany's. She's even did Cleopatra.
This will be a fun book for children. They'll learn facts about historical figures and will giggle over the pictures. Why not have a little fun with them as you read this book?
