This is a book of dark tales. After all, crimes aren't Easter egg colored are they?
Akashic Books sent me an ARC of this book to read for review. This was published May 5th.
Theses are brand new stories by well known authors and they all talk
about a certain neighborhood in Berkeley. None of the tales are bad.
My favorite one was "Eat Your Pheasant, Drink Your Wine" by Shanth
Sekaran. What made the story fun to read was a pet rat. He even takes
part in the murder to save his owner...
There are sixteen stories. Give it a read, get caught up in the noir, and then tell me which story you liked best.
These are good stories even if they are dark. Give it a try!
