Arlo, Mrs. Ogg, and the Dinosaur Zoo by Alice Hemming, Kathryn Durst

Arlo's class has trouble keeping a teacher.  Some don't last more than a day.  But their new teacher is different.  She doesn't say much and soon arranges to take them to the zoo.  That's exciting.  Everyone has their favorite exhibit.  But they go right by the zoo...

Maverick Arts and Edelweiss gave me the opportunity to read this book for review (thank you).  It will be published April 7th.

Mrs. Ogg looks like a cave woman and she takes them to a different zoo.  Arlo loves dinosaurs and he's amazed to find out this zoo actually has some.  Some are scary, some are very big. some are friendly but they all are dinosaurs.

They learn a lot in this visit and it's a good thing.  The principal comes and tests them.  She even tries to cheat but the class defies her.  Now they get to go to the end of the year party!

This is a great way to learn about dinosaurs and about how to deal with bullies.  It's a fun read.
