One Snowy Morning by Kevin Tseng, Dana Wulfekotte (Illustrated by)

The animals wander out in the morning and find a snowman but they don't know what he is.  They see a pile of snow with weird things on him...

They think the top hat is a tall rowboat; the carrot nose is a rare dragon’s tooth; and the mittens are fish puppets.  They gather up his accessories and head back home with them.  They are very inventive with what they've taken.  The tall rowboat makes a perfect table; the rare dragon’s tooth makes a delicious soup; and the fish puppets make amazing hats! 

They have a party and invite everyone.  Then they decide to return what they have left.  It's worth the price on this book to see how they decorated it.  It made me smile.  Young readers will love it!
