Wedding Wings by KiKi Thorpe

Oh my!  Julia is getting married and Gabby gets to be the flower girl!

Random House Children's Books sent me a copy of this book to read for review (thank you).  It has been published, so check with your local bookstore for a copy.  If you haven't met the Never Girls yet, you might want to get more of this series for young one to read.  Little girls + fairies = lots of fun!

Gabby is going to be good at the wedding.  She's not going to act up, she's going to be sedate and she's going to be the star.  At least, that's what she means to do.  When she goes to brag to the fairies about the event, they give her some fairy dust so the rose petals will fly magically to the ground and add more charm to the wedding.  And the little fairy that likes to paint sneaks into Gabby's flower basket so she can go to the wedding, too.

It starts well, then Julia's veil gets some fairy dust on it and flies out the window.  What's Gabby to do?  She puts some on herself and flies out after it.  In the meantime, the fairy has messed up the wedding cake, been captured by the ringbearer and can't figure out how to escape.  With a messed up veil and cake, what can Gabby and her fairy to do?

It's a good thing they both have friends...
