Isabella: Girl on the Go by Jennifer Fosberry

Isabella has a very active imagination...

Sourcebooks and Net Galley let me read an ebook of this new picture book for review (thank you).  It is being published today, so you can visit your local bookstore to pick up a copy.

The illustrations by Make Litwin are done in almost pastel colors with lots of light.  They have just the right touch to go with the story of a little girl and her father.

Every couple of minutes, Isabella has a new career and a goal.  For instance, when she's playing in the sand box, she's an archeologist searching for a king's tomb.  So her dad slips into "desert" mode and says:  Well, Isabella, I think you will DISCOVER that your MUMMY gave us plenty to do today.  And so it goes.

No matter where Isabella's imagination takes her, her dad plays along with her.

This is a very cute picture box filled with puns that will delight the child and the adult that reads it with them.

Happy reading.
