Megan's boyfriend's classmates from college are coming to town. They want to get together with him and Megan agrees to go with him. She'll have regrets later...
Henery Press and Edelweiss allowed me to read this book for review (thank you). It will be published July 16th.
Chase is negative and nasty. Martine can't keep her eyes off Denver, Megan's boyfriend. They are all a bit weird.
They are in town because they are going to go camping with students from a special needs school. They intend to mentor them. But that plan goes astray when Chase is murdered the first day. Even worse, they think the boy that Denver's aunt is raising killed him. Megan and Denver don't believe it but how can they prove someone else did it?
This is a good mystery with several factors at play. It takes a lot of work to get the background on everyone and figure out who the killer is. The ending is tense and keeps you glued to your chair.
I enjoyed this tale and I was rooting for Dillon, the special needs boy.
