Taffy Saltwater's Yummy Summer Day by Michael Paraskevas

Grab hold of your imagination and let's go to the beach!

Random House Children's Books sent me a copy of this picture for review.  It has been published, so check with your local bookstore for a copy.

Taffy is going down the boardwalk to the ocean.  She wants to build a big sand castle.  She has Rollo the Beach Ball and Rigby Rabbit with her; they're both alive, mind you.  Mr. Footer, the hotdog man, looks just a hotdog.  And let's not forget Bob, the Sea Monster blow up toy.

They have trouble finding a clear spot for building a castle.  When they at last settle, the wind picks up Rollo and carries him away.  Will they find him again?

The illustrations are bright and colorful and the story is cute.  You won't believe how many people they can get on Bob, the Sea Monster.  And their castle is magnificent.  Little ones will have great fun with this book.

Happy reading.
