Ms. Powell is back again and this time Mom is in the spotlight!
Robin Corey Books sent me a copy of this book for review (thank you). It has been published so check with your local bookstore for a copy of this board book.
I really like the way the author presents the important people in a child's life. Her previous book about Dad being a playground meshes well with this one about Mom. Mom juggles, is a strong woman and even walks on stilts (heels). The story is simple and cute and the characters almost walk off the pages.
This would be a fun book to share with small one. Maybe you could even demonstrate some of your circus skills!
Here is the book trailer, which is done well: My Mom
Happy reading.
