No matter what Monster has, he needs one more. This is really cute learn-to-count book with lots of colorful monsters.
Blue Apple Books and Edelweiss allowed me download an ebook of this story for review (thank you). It will be published August 27th, so check with your local bookstore for a copy.
I've read and reviewed a lot of picture books for children, but this one is especially nice for the very young. The text is repeated and sing-songy, the monsters are very vibrant colors and silly looking and it's fun to count with them.
In my mind's eye, I can see them listening to the text with their parents a few times and then sitting quietly reading and counting with the monsters by themselves.
If you have a little one, take a look at this series. The bright colors and fun monsters make it a hit.
Happy reading.
