The Parables of Sunlight by Margaret Dulaney

She had lived in Manhattan for years but she and her husband escaped the city and moved to the country.  They had rented their farm to a tenant but she did nothing but ruin things.  Once they cleaned it up and got it livable, they moved in.

Listen Well Publishing sent me a copy of this book to read for review (thank you).  It has already been published so you can get a copy now.

She falls in love with a horse in the farm.  It has a star on it's head.  She goes for long walks and sorts her thoughts.  She believes in a higher spirit that she calls the teacher.

Things are going pretty good until one of the bigger horses kicks the horse she likes and breaks her leg.  The vet wants to put her down.  She won't do it.  Then she reads about a man who uses a different technique and has healed many animals.  She gets him to come and work on her horse.

This tale is nonfiction and follows her life on the farm.  It's a cozy feeling with challenges along the way.  Just like life really is!
