The Low Desert : Gangster Stories by Tod Goldberg

This is a collection of stories about gangsters.

Counterpoint and Edelweiss allowed me to read this book for review (thank you).  It will be published February 2nd.

These tales aren't pleasant.  Gangsters aren't nice people and they have no qualms about killing people.  Some of the stories were of revenge, some of double crossing, and there are no happy ever after tales.

The author keeps you reading to see where he's going next.  Each tale catches your attention.  And while these are not cheerful tales, they are pretty realistic.  Gangsters are pretty mean.
