The Midnight Fair by Gideon Sterer, Mariachiara Di Giorgio (Illustrated by)

This is a fun story to read.  The circus sets up in the countryside and has many visitors on the first day.  Then it closes for the day and they lock up and go home.

Candlewick and Edelweiss let me read this book for review (thank you).  It will be published on January 2nd.

The forest animals watched all the fun during the day.  Now that it was night, they moved closer.  The raccoons make an opening in the fence and in they go!  They ride the rides, eat the goodies and hang out all night.  The illustrations are lovely and great fun to look at.

As daylight approaches, they go back to the woods.  The guard comes to open the place and sees some things out of place but doesn't know why.  If he were to look at the woods, there's nothing there to let him know what happened.

I enjoyed watching the animals have a good time.
