The Wonder of Color by Catherine Stier, Floss Pottage (Illustrated by)

His class has an opportunity to paint on the library wall.  The person with the best picture gets to do it.  James wants to win but he has to learn about colors first.

Albert Whitman & Company and Edelweiss let me read this book for review (thank you). It has been published and you can get a copy now.

You learn about color choices, how they are made, how to mix them and more.  James draws a picture of a book.  His gets chosen but he invites the other students to draw pictures on his book pages.  They do and it makes a very nice mural.
