Postal Vol. 2 Matt Hawkins, Bryan Hill, Art By: Isaac Goodhar

He's the mailman.  But he's a bit more, too.  He's the son of the Mayor and she runs the town her way.  Why?

Image Comics shared a galley of this comic with me.  It's available for purchase now.  You can buy it here:  COMIC.

This story line is intriguing.  Mark does what his mother wants for the most part.  His father is not around, his mother is sleeping with the sheriff, and his girlfriend apparently has plans of her own.  He gets kidnapped by two killers.  The sheriff saves him.  He asks his girl to go out and she says yes.  However something is not right in this town.

His mother is recruiting ex-cons.  They fill all the jobs and behave themselves.  What no one understands is why she would do that.  There's also the fact that the town isn't on any map and doesn't have any connection to other governmental units.  There's something being born here but you're not sure what.

Then there's the little issue of Mark's girlfriend.  She's trying to convince him his mother is evil and manipulative.  She's certainly manipulative but I don't see evil.  Yet...

It will be interesting to see how the story develops.  There are secrets around the edges and they will be revealed sooner or later.
