The Bedtime Book for Dogs by Bruce Littlefield

Do you like dogs?  Then you'll like this children's picture book.

Grand Central Publishing sent me a copy of this book for review (thank you).  It's coming out in June, check with your local bookstore.  It's illustrated by Paul S Heath

This is a short sweet tale of a dog who takes himself on a walk.  He does what dog do on a tour of the neighborhood (nothing bad) and then goes home to a treat and a nap.

If you have a small one and a dog he or she is not sure about, this book can give you an avenue to talk about dogs.  It would also work well as an introduction to the idea of getting a dog for your family.

Any child with an interest in animals will enjoy this book.

Happy reading!

Thanks for writing about us! We are so excited about the book. And given the fact that the Univ. of California has proven that kids who read to dogs increase their reading skills 30% over kids who read to themselves or their peers... everyone should try it! Wishing you fun and happy reading -bruce
