Squirrels on Skis by J Hamilton Ray

Like Dr. Seuss?  You'll love this book...

Random House Children's Books sent me a copy of this Beginner Book to read for review (thank you).  It has been published and we're going into the winter season.  Why not grab a copy at your local bookstore for those days it's too cold to go outside?

This is a silly rhyming story with illustrations by Pascal Lemaitre that remind me of the whimsical style of Dr. Seuss.

It all starts with one squirrel that skis out of the trees down towards town.  Then there were two.  Then three.  And soon the town overwhelmed with them.  The adults wanted to vacuum them up, but little Sally Sue had a much better idea.  Her solution will make your little one laugh.

The words are simple so beginning readers will have no problems reading the story.  Let them read it aloud to you and they'll have much more fun.  You might get tired of the story but I bet they won't!

Happy reading.
