Here's another Trash 'n' Treasures mystery for you. It seems Brandy and Vivian just can't keep out of trouble...
Kensington Books sent me an ARC of this book for review (thank you). It was published in May, so you can grab a copy at your local bookstore now.
What could be better for business than their own reality TV show where they could show off their finds? It all sounded like a great idea until they found the producer dead in the old house where murder had occurred sixty years ago and where the show was to be filmed...
If it isn't bad enough it's another axe murder, Brandy's son is the one who discovered it, and Joe, the vet suffering from PTSD, is sitting in the backyard holding the axe. Brandy knows Joe didn't do it, but how can she prove it?
With a murder from the past and the present mixing together into a reality cocktail, you're not sure who makes the best suspect. Everybody involved has grudges. Who might have acted on them?
I have to admit this author had me suspecting the wrong person. Most times I can guess, so this was a pleasant surprise for me. I enjoy this series. It's a cozy mystery and it makes a nice afternoon read. Why not settle into a comfortable chair and read your own copy? Even better, get a few of the earlier books so you can see how Brandy and Viv have been involved in other murders. What do you have to lose?
Happy reading.
