Ms. Petrone's illustrations give you a little girl with big hair who has lots of pretty panties and is excited about wearing them.
Ms. Manushkin does a good job of showing how to sell the idea of panties by making them "Big Girl" panties. The child has them with the days of the week, animals and flowers, and all the various colors. Panties are fun!
The illustrations are fun and the story line is sweet. This is a great way to make your little embrace the change.

Ah and here I thought this was going to teach us adult women to put on our big girl panties!! Sounds like a great story to help with toilet training...but need one with a boy for my neighbor who is trying with her little guy.
