This is my favorite Sammy Keyes story so far. This series is written for middle grade readers and Sammy gets involved with an odd mystery in each one. This time she meets Justice Jack...
Random House Kids sent me a copy of this book for review (thank you). It has been published and you can get it in hardback, trade paperback, or ebook form. Check with your local bookstore for a copy.
Sammy is just going to the mall with her girlfriend when she spots a thief stealing a purse from a lady. She manages to stop him, but another person takes credit for the save. She's a bit put-off by the hero; he's wearing spandex and a mask. He declares himself Justice Jack and he's soon a local hero.
He's auditioning sidekicks and wants Sammy to join him in crime fighting, but she says no. However, Billy says yes. From there, the story gets even more complex.
It's mostly a fun story with silly characters and it's up to Sammy to weasel out the truth and save the day. Her skills keep improving in every book. Why not see if you can solve the mystery before Sammy does?
Happy reading.
