Random House sent me a copy of this book and the non-fiction companion book for review (thank you). They've been published, so check with your local bookstore for a copy.
Jack and Annie get another odd clue that they must travel to China to solve. Once they get there, they find themselves in an earthquake and end up rescuing pandas at the reserve. If they are so busy doing this, when will they find the answer to their clue?
These books would work great for home schooling or a day care center. They are written for ages 6-10. Here's a good way to share information in an interesting form. Your reader may even have more questions that you can look up online or at the library. You'll both learn something from reading this series. I know I have.

Sounds like a delightful read. Does the non-fiction book somehow clarifying stuff in the story? Just wondering.
The non-fiction books give you more information on the facts brought up in the story. It also has nature pictures rather than illustrations.
