Becky's nickname is "Rebel". If that doesn't give you a clue about what kind of woman she is, she runs a motorcycle shop and can customize your bike for you, too.
Sourcebooks Casablanca shared an ARC of this book with me for review (thank you). It was published in September, so check with your local bookstore for a copy.
Becky is independent, stubborn, and very much her own woman. When Frank Knight asks if his team can use her motorcycle shop as a cover for his elite special ops team, she says yes. But she doesn't intend to stand by and watch them do their stuff. She intends to compete...
Frank never expected a little bit of fluff to be so much trouble. Not only does she weld and drive like she's crazy, she also can shoot well. Being petite doesn't hold her back. So he does his best to ignore her.
The author does a great job of creating sexual tension between the two main characters. Becky quickly becomes a favorite of all the men in the team. She's got spunk.
When she gets inadvertently stuck in a hostage situation at sea, the team has a new goal: Save Becky.
This more than adventure with romance; Ms. Walker gives her characters more depth than that. They have reasons they haven't married, and they have to work through that as well.
I enjoyed the fast action, the dramatic rescue, and the romance, too. Why not read this and see if you might not want Frank to rescue you?
If you'd like my ARC of this book, leave a comment here on my blog and email at info at bookfaerie.com with your name and address and tell me why you'd like to read the book. I'll pick a winner in about a week.
Happy reading.
