Nate Rocks the Boat by Karen Pokras Toz

If you haven't met Nate yet, you will want to!  A trip to camp with him is real adventure...

The author and Goddess Fish Blog gave me the opportunity to read this middle grade ebook for review (thank you).  The book has been published, so you can buy it now.

Nate never gets bored.  If he's left alone for too long or isn't interested in what's going on at the time, he daydreams.  He has exciting little adventures where he's the hero and he doodles all over whatever happens to be in his hands.

The main story is about going to camp, but all the little stories are what will make the young readers happy.  Nate has great adventures in his mind.  And he even has some in real life, too.

The ending is cool, too.  I won't tell you what happened but it surprised me and I bet young readers will be surprised, too.

Karen will be awarding a $25 Amazon GC to one randomly drawn commenter during the tour.  You'll want to visit all the websites hosting this tour to get more entries into the contest:  Blog Tour Hosts List

Happy reading.

I don't know about others, but I do enjoy reading a good children's book sometimes! Never know what fun might be found between those covers. I still think Nate sounds like a young Indiana Jones in training!

Have a great weekend and see you next week!

I still love children's books, but haven't tried current ones in a while. This one looks good!

I loved camp as a kid, and all the shenanigans we would get in to. This sounds like a wonderful story to share with children, whether they get to go to camp or not. Still fun to be able to share in the camping fun through the story!! Will definitely have to check this one out!

This series is definitely going on my TRL for the grandkids and grandma. :) Thanks for another interview. Nate sounds like someone the kids will love. Thanks for sharing.
