Ted the Friendly Frog and the Tale of the Diamond by Scott McCall, Autumn Brook

Ted's grandfather leaves him in charge of a beautiful diamond while he's away.  He tells him to keep it safe.  Ted doesn't listen.

Brown Books Kids and Edelweiss gave me the opportunity to read this book for review (thank you).  It will be published Oct. 16th.

He's not supposed to show it to anyone.  He ignores that and takes it to show his friends.  Then a bird steals it and it ends up in the pond.  He and his friends can't find it so he has to confess to his grandfather.  His grandfather finds it and then talks about the lesson Ted learned:  Listen to your family members and do what you're told...
