Cedric, The Stealth Cat (Curious Characters Book 4) by AC Michael

Cedric has it made.  He lives on a fisherman's boat and eats all the fish he wants.  What could ruin that?  A high sea and the boat tipping over!

The author sent me a copy of this book to read for review (thank you).  It has been published and you can buy a copy on Amazon now.

When Cedric comes ashore, he has no idea where to go.  He's lost his owner.  Maybe he drowned?  What's he do to do?  Then he meets a friendly mouse who takes him to a deserted house where they can live in the backyard/basement area.  He's content enough there until he gets hungry.  The house brings him regular cat food but that's disgusting.  He decides to "hunt" on his own.

As he sniffs up and down the street he finds people who are using tinned fish to cook with.  He decides to steal some of their food.  What surprises him is that people don't seem to see him.

This author adds a little oddity to each book.  In this case, the kind of fish he preferred while on the fishing boat is what makes him hard to see.  He's almost invisible.  That makes his thievery much more successful.  But he has changed his diet...

Here's a cute tale about a cat who gets too fat from eating too much.  He's greedy and it will get him in trouble.  But he'll be OK.  You'll have to read the story to find out why...
