Thomas the Tank is back with his friends and has never looked better!
Random House Children's Books sent me a set of these books to review (thank you). They are for ages three and up and have been published so you can get a copy at your local bookstore or online.
Their announcement:
Random House Children’s Books is thrilled to announce the launch of the all-new website for our hugely popular Thomas & Friends brand.
Randomhouse.com/Kids/Thomas
will be the new home for all of our Thomas & Friends titles. The
new site allows readers to easily search for their favorite type of
Thomas title, including hardcover, Paperback, Board Book, E book,
Coloring & Activity, Novelty, Step Into Reading, Little Golden
Book or Movie / DVD tie-in.
Other new features include a rich library of Thomas & Friends printables, a video
section with trailers of the Thomas movies, and a “What’s New” page that allows readers to quickly discover the latest Thomas titles.
The same friendships are here and new challenges face Thomas, but he overcomes them with help from his friends. Any of these books are fun for children with the bright colored illustrations and simple stories.
My favorite of the group is this one:
The pages are board book thickness, the crayons are write-on, wipe-off, and it offers the child a chance to draw easy items in colors. You can erase them and do them again or you can fix it if you make a mistake while drawing. What fun!
I also am impressed by this big board book:
Thomas gets stuck in a tunnel, who can save him?
And here is the best part of this offer; I am giving away four of the books I got for review. Here's the list of giveaways:
1) This is a 3-D coloring book and includes the glasses to let you enjoy what you've created.
2) This one is a lift-the-flap book about search and rescue.
3) This one is a step into reading book that is about an egg big enough to be delivered by Thomas!
4) This is a Little Golden Book about the day the diesels came to town.
If you would like to win one of these four Thomas books, you need to leave a comment here on the blog, send me an email at info at bookfaerie.com and tell me which one and why you'd like to win it. You may enter more than once and ask for an additional book, but I hope to give one away to four different families if possible.
Happy reading.
